We track every aircraft pass over every cell for ninety days. Cells that stay empty are the genuinely quiet ones — Nordic fells, Spanish meseta, Finnish lakeland. Connected-component analysis pulls out the largest contiguous quiet zones for you.

SCR scores real webcams every afternoon, local time, for actual sky colour and clarity, and pins the result to the map — not a forecast, not a model, the sky as it actually was outside that window today.

No. We report what the source data shows. A "no flights" cell means OpenSky logged zero ADS-B transponder signals there over the sampling window, sharpened to roughly 1 km where coverage allows. A "no G-tower" cell means OpenCelliD lists no mast on file. Real-world conditions can differ — military aircraft, non-public towers, indoor measurements all sit outside our sources.
