Most of what the grid returns is unremarkable. That is what a measurement is. A few times a season it returns something that changes how a place should be read.

The soft-water band below 60 mg/L: 5,095 European cells, median 197 mg/L, the band running through Agder, Braga and the Massif Central.

Or a case where the honest answer is two answers. "The largest continuous area with no logged overflight" comes out as one 1.3-million-km² region if diagonal cells count as connected, and as roughly 27,000 separate areas if they don't. We publish both and print the query, because the definition changes the result and the reader is entitled to know that.
